| First
of all, we would like to thank everybody for participating in the
Odyssey speaker naming contest. We hope that you've had as much
fun as we did. Finally, we're very, very happy about the quality of the suggested names. It has been somewhat difficulty to pick the final model names. It was important to us that the names were beautiful, had a reasonable meaning or origin, and for marketing reasons sound good and memorable with "Odyssey". Another consideration was a common thread for at least the floor standing loudspeakers. In Lorelei, Nightingale, and Circe we opted for "beautiful voices". As for Epiphany and Nemesis, we simply liked the names. As for some of the jokers out there, thanks for the laughs. We especially enjoyed the "Bungehound", but as you might figure, after long and hard considerations in regards to the world wide marketing, this entry had to be dismissed. On a serious note, thanks again to all of you who gave thoughtful consideration to your name entries. You've been tremendous help to us, and we hope that everyone likes the new names for our speaker line as much as we do. Thanks
